Favourite urban spot
In summer, on a sunny day, it’s definitely the Josaphat park in Schaarbeek. You may want to have a beer in one of the archers’ guild’s cafés (one is from the Dutch speaking guild, the other one is French speaking, of course). Their standing ‘wips’ are dominating the field, artefacts of a past that is struggling to survive the present. Nowadays, those wips are more often used by the local multicultural youth, who don't have a clue of this past, but who assume they’re very good goalposts.
