SmarterLabs: Citizen Science for Brussels Air

13 March 2017 , 17:30-20:00h, Elzenhof Community centre, Kroonlaan 12, 1050 Brussels

Air pollution in Brussels is a major issue, and yet it is far from being well known and understood. In a context of an increasing awareness on the dangers of air pollution, and of timid action by policy makers, numerous associations and groups of citizens have started mobilising. This the case of the participants in the expAIR project, the movement Clean Air Brussels, GRACQ, Bruxsel’air, EUCG, Gezinsbond, Fietsersbond…

Cosmopolis and the urban movement BRAL invite you to an event to bring around the same table citizens and researchers to exchange on the existing experience on measuring and fighting urban air pollution, to present and discuss the principle of Citizens Science as a tool to combine knowledges and resources, and to launch a new collaboration in the framework of Smarter Labs
